Standing in front of a full wardrobe with nothing to wear is not a shopping problem. It is a combinatorics problem. A modest closet of forty garments contains tens of thousands of possible outfits, and a human brain reaches for the same six.
Awtfit's stylist is the part of the app that solves that. It knows every garment you own, what colour each one truly is, and which combinations have been shown to work. Then it builds.
Three ways to get an outfit

Why the suggestions are not random
The engine does not do hue arithmetic. Complementary and triadic colour wheel maths invents colours that exist in no palette and in nobody's wardrobe, which is why apps built that way suggest combinations that look wrong in a mirror.
Awtfit matches instead against 157 named colours and 348 real palettes compiled by the Japanese artist Sanzo Wada in 1933. Every garment you photograph is measured for its true colour, matched to its nearest Wada colour, and scored on the palettes it belongs to.
Three rules that make the difference
- Neutrals are wildcards, not failures. Scored purely on colour distance, black trousers lose to everything and never get picked for a pastel palette, which is obviously wrong. Awtfit treats anything below a chroma threshold as a neutral that stands beside a palette instead of wearing it.
- Outfits are chosen for coverage. Picking the single best item for each slot returns three garments matching the same palette colour, which is a monochrome outfit wearing a costume. Each slot instead gets a bonus for introducing a colour nothing else in the look is wearing.
- The outer layer has to earn its place. A clashing jacket is worse than no jacket, so the top and bottom always come back and the third piece only joins when it genuinely helps.
The score is shown to you
Every outfit carries a visible score rather than a hidden one. You learn what the engine likes, you learn where your wardrobe has gaps, and when you disagree you can override it. Your correction is what the styling engine uses from then on.

Once a look is on the canvas you can see it on your own body in about ten seconds, save it to your Fits, plan it for a specific day, or send it to a friend who can then try it on themselves.
